Friday, Dec. 3 - Upload!

There are directions for Submitting Your Video to the Project on the project help wiki

STEP ONE: Post your Video to the NING

We've done this part before, remember?

Here's the Step-by-Step

1. Find the Video page on the FCP Ning under "Multimedia" and follow the directions to upload your video file
3. Add appropriate title, description, and tags
4. Tags should include "ISA Videos", FCP10-3, and the standard tag for your topic - plus any additional keywords you'd like to use
5. Keep your video page open, you'll need to grab the URL and embed code for the next step!

STEP TWO: Add your Video to the WIKI

After uploading your video to the FCP Ning, you will be linking it to TWO pages on the FCP 10-3A wiki

How to Find these TWO Pages

1. The Master List of Final Videos (link your video and fill in the rest of the template info) - TELL your classmates when you are editing this page, so we don't have a "wiki war"!
2. The "Video Page" for your topic (link AND embed your video and fill in the rest of the template) - NOT the topic page itself (even though some students have done this, it's a mistake and will make the pages too big, which causes them to stop working properly)
Tip: To find your "Video Page" - Start on your topic page; jump down to "Video Artifacts" and click the FIRST link under that heading
It says something like "Go to the Accompanying Wiki to View Google Takes over the World Student final videos"

PLEASE: Follow the directions at the top of each page very carefully!
Be sure you are following the Video Number Instructions for the Master List of Final Videos
There is a template at the top of your "Video Page" for you to cut and paste as you add your information

CONGRATULATIONS!

You're done with this part of the project.
There will be a worldwide (virtual) Awards Ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 16 at 8:00 AM our time.
Please put this on your calendar and plan to join us for breakfast and celebration!
(Ms. Allen's 2nd period will be here with us, and last year Ms. Bieser and Mr. Magadance joined us, too)

Monday, Dec. 6 - This is it!

Today is the absolutely last day to upload your videos.
The the Master List of Final Videos for judging will be locked at midnight.

If you are finished, you can either help a classmate or watch Growing Up Online, a PBS documentary from 2008
